Is OpenFloor free?+
Yes. Every lesson, the Speech Scorecard, the survey, and the dashboards are free for students and teachers.
Is OpenFloor AI-powered?+
Not yet. Today the Speech Scorecard and the Practice Room run on rule-based scoring built from our rubric, so they are free and instant. AI feedback on reasoning and rebuttal is coming next.
Do I need an account?+
No. You can practice as a guest. To save progress and appear on your teacher's dashboard, join your class with the class code, your name, and a 4-digit PIN. No email needed.
Which browser should I use?+
Chrome works best for voice recording and live transcription. In any browser you can type your speech instead.
Does it work in Korean?+
Yes. Every lesson, activity, rubric, and screen is available in Korean and English. Switch any time.
How are speeches scored?+
With the Debate Performance Rubric: Content, Logic, Presentation, and Length, 0 to 3 points each. Scores are automatic estimates, so teachers should review before grading.
